About Me
My name is Oona. I am a journalist/writer interested in local news, politics and culture. I have written about evictions, a Men’s Right’s lawsuit, people and their pets, staying cool on the MTA, collective real estate, college student burnout, transit activism, education in Los Angeles, electronic music and a bunch of stories about everything and anything concerning the borough of Brooklyn. I attended Occidental College where I studied history and I grew up in between Stockholm, Sweden and Louisville, Kentucky. I now live in New York City.
